A lot of people ask “why do you take your car to the dealer rather than an independent service shop?”
Well, it’s pretty simple really. When you take your Honda to the Honda Dealership, your car is inspected and repaired by technicians that are required by the manufacturer to have hundreds of hours of training to be certified by American Honda just to work on car.
Every year, Honda develops new technologies. These new technologies are for the car and there is also new testing equipment for better diagnostics.
This equipment is expensive and the training is only offered to Honda Dealership technicians. This training is in addition to the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) training that they also receive.
But there are also “Every Day Benefits” in coming to the dealership.
There are additional benefits too. Like they add a tire protection plan for free when I buy tires.
And, when I wait for my service, I enjoy a nice clean atmosphere with Wi-Fi and Free Coffee, Tea, Bottle Water and Snacks such as fruit, donuts and an assortment of Ice Cream Treats to sweeten your visit.
You’ll be surprised how reasonable the dealer really is.
